Gat & Co.

Gat & Co. is located at number 8 on Old Saurvey Road. It is a pretty quiet street compared to the main junctions, which is nice when you are trying to focus on paperwork or sorting out the day’s tasks. The building is older, and you can feel that history when you walk through the door. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of old files that probably should have been thrown out years ago, but we keep them just in case. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows whose turn it is to bring the biscuits for the afternoon break. We don’t have a big sign or anything too bright out front, just the name on the door so people know they have the right place. Most of our work is done at the desks, talking on the phone or writing things down in the ledgers. It can be a bit slow some afternoons, especially when it’s raining outside and nobody wants to be on Old Saurvey Road. But then other times, three people will walk in at once and it gets hectic for an hour. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a small team here, and we have worked together long enough that we don’t need to say much to know what needs doing next. It’s just a regular office life, really, and we wouldn't have it any other way most days.
