Galaxy Hosiery

We have been over here at 1 No. Santosh Park in Dum Dum Cantt for a good bit now. It is a busy area, but we like the energy. We mostly deal with hosiery and making sure the machines keep running the way they should. It gets pretty noisy in the back when everything is going, but that is how you know work is actually getting done. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs or anything like that. It is more about piles of fabric and making sure the threads match up right. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait it out with some tea. People come by asking for specific items, and we do our best to find whatever is sitting in the boxes. It is a family-run kind of thing, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. We aren't a giant factory, just a small place making everyday clothes for folks. You won't find us on any big TV ads. We just focus on the knitting and the stitching. The neighborhood knows us well. We have seen the area change a lot over the years, but we are still right here in the same spot. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We spend a lot of time checking for holes or bad seams before anything goes out. It isn't always easy, but it is what we do.
