We have our place at P-86, Lake Road. It’s a bit of a nicer neighborhood, which is a change of pace from the more industrial parts of town. The building is a regular house that we’ve turned into our work area. We use the rooms for different parts of the fashion business. One room might be full of patterns while another has the finished pieces waiting to be packed for shipping. It feels a bit like a maze sometimes with all the racks. We’ve been on Lake Road for a few years now. The trees outside give a bit of shade, which is nice in the afternoon when the sun hits the front. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and you’re likely to see someone pinning a dress or checking a shipment list. We aren't trying to be some big international brand. We just like making clothes that people will actually wear. Sometimes we sit on the porch to talk about new ideas for the next season. It’s a relaxed environment, but we still work hard to get everything done on time. We keep our records in some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s just us here, doing the work we know how to do. There isn't much more to it than that. We just show up, open the windows, and get to it. It’s a good way to spend the day and we stay busy.
