Dipika Garments & Marketing

Our place is tucked away at 12/B Ram Chand Ghosh Lane. It is one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful when two bikes are passing each other. We do a mix of things here at Dipika Garments & Marketing, handling both the garments and the promotional side of things. It started out small and stayed pretty much that way. The building is old, and we have been in this spot for a long time. Inside, there are piles of fabric and boxes everywhere. It is not the most organized looking office or shop, but we know where everything is. Most of our work involves talking to suppliers and then getting the clothes out to different places. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, which is a pain for deliveries. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It is more of a practical workspace. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down orders in big paper ledgers. Computers are there, but we still like using pens and paper for the quick stuff. People from the neighborhood often walk by and wave. It is a quiet corner compared to the main roads. We don't go for anything flashy. We just focus on getting the garments where they need to go and making sure the business side is moving along. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. The tea guy comes around twice every day.
