You can find us over on Synagogue Street, up on the ninth floor in Suite 918. Being that high up means we get a decent view of the city, but mostly we’re just looking at the boxes piled up in the corner. We do export work, which means a lot of checking lists and making sure the labels are stuck on straight. The elevator in this building is old and sometimes takes forever, so we’ve learned to be patient. It’s a busy area down on the street level with lots of offices and people rushing around, but up here it’s mostly just the sound of the tape dispenser and the fan overhead. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is used for storing items before they go to the port or the airport. We spend a lot of time on the computer or the phone, trying to make sure the timing is right for everything. It’s a lot of small details that you wouldn't think about until you’re doing it. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the paperwork so things can ship out the next morning. It’s just how the business works. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not; we’re just a small export team trying to make sure things get to where they’re supposed to go without any big problems. We keep the kettle going and just focus on the task at hand.
