Lambodara Fashions

You can find Lambodara Fashions over at Cb-1/3 Rail Pukur Road in DB Nagar. It’s a local spot where we deal with all sorts of clothing and fabrics. We aren't some high-end boutique with bright lights and mirrors everywhere. It’s more of a workshop feel inside. Rolls of cloth and half-finished garments are usually sitting around on the tables. Some days it’s very busy with people coming in for measurements or to pick up their orders for a wedding or a festival. Other days it’s just the sound of the machines running. We do our best to get the stitching right, even if it takes a bit longer than expected. The street outside can get a bit congested, but we’ve lived in this area for a long time so we don’t mind. Being a big brand doesn't interest us. We just like making clothes that fit people well and look decent. Sometimes we get stuck on a difficult pattern and have to start over. It’s just how it goes when you’re working with your hands. We talk to the customers about what they like, and sometimes we give our own simple suggestions if they ask. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working hard to keep the shop going. We keep the doors open late sometimes when there is a lot of work to finish before the weekend. It is just a regular life for us.
