D. S. Apparel

D. S. Apparel is situated inside the Centre Point building. Our specific spot is Room No. 521, which is all the way up on the 5th floor. The address is No. 21 Hemant Basu Sarani. It’s quite a walk up if the elevator is busy, but we don’t mind it much. Being on the 5th floor means it’s a bit quieter than the street level. We have a lot of clothes and samples tucked away in this room. The walls are plain, and we have a few desks where we handle all the orders. Hemant Basu Sarani is a busy place, so being high up gives us a bit of a break from the noise. We keep the windows shut mostly to keep the dust out. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when new stock arrives, and we have to move things around to make space. It’s not a huge office, but it fits everything we need. Most days are spent talking on the phone or checking the lists of apparel we have in stock. The hallway outside can be a bit dark, but once you step into Room 521, we have the lights on all day. It’s a decent place to work. We’ve been here at Centre Point for a while now and know most of the other people on this floor. We just try to stay organized and get our work done before heading out for the day.
