D. S. Apparel

Our office is up in Room No. 521 at Centre Point. That’s at 21 Hemant Basu Sarani. It’s one of those big buildings where you have to take the lift and walk down the hallway to find us. D. S. Apparel has been in this spot for a good bit of time. We mostly deal with clothing items and getting things ready for shops. It isn't a retail store where you just browse around; it's more of a workspace where we handle the business side of things. There are desks, some samples laying around, and a lot of paperwork. The room isn't huge, but it fits what we need to do. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other days it is completely silent. Being in Centre Point means we are right in the middle of everything, which helps with deliveries. We have a few people working here who have been with us since the start. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the apparel orders are right and the numbers match up. It can be stressful when deadlines are close, but we manage to get through it. The coffee machine is probably the most used thing in the office. We just stay focused on the tasks and go home when the work is done for the day. It’s a busy building with a lot of other businesses, so there is always people coming and going in the corridors. We keep our files in order and just keep moving.
