Being near the MG Road Metro Station means there is a lot of foot traffic outside our doors all day long. Sometimes the bells from the temple are quite loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. This location stays busy because of the metro. People are always rushing past. Inside, we have our regular setup with plenty of sarees for people to see. It’s a bit different from our other spots, maybe a bit more crowded with stock. We try to keep things moving so the shop doesn’t get too cluttered, but with so many sarees, it’s a constant battle. The counters are usually covered in fabric as we show different pieces to anyone who walks in. We don't have any big speeches to give about our history, we just open up in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves. It’s a simple routine. The metro station nearby is great for the staff too, making the commute easier. We spend most of our time chatting with customers and making sure the shelves aren't completely empty. It is a lively place to work, especially on festival days. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in.
