Chique Fashion

Chique Fashion is a little shop at AC 13, Shop No 4. We are on the ground floor of Baishali Apartment. This is over in the Prafulla Kanan area of Kolkata. Being on the ground floor is handy because people can just walk right in from the street. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood compared to the main city center. Baishali Apartment is easy to find if you know the area. We have a small display window where we put a few things to show what we have. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the stock, but we like it that way. It feels cozy. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals who live in the apartments nearby. Chique Fashion isn't a big chain or anything. It’s just our little corner. We usually start the day by sweeping the front step and organizing the hangers. Prafulla Kanan has a nice feel to it, especially in the evenings when families are out. We keep the lights on until late so people can stop by after work. Sometimes we have a radio playing in the background. It’s not fancy at all. We just provide what people need and keep things moving. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have become part of the daily routine for some. Shop No 4 is where we spend our days.
