Our workshop is at 60/1, Tiljala Road. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside the door. We spend most of our time around sewing machines and piles of fabric. It’s not a quiet place. You can always hear the hum of the motors and people talking over the noise. We’ve got rolls of cloth stacked up in the corners. Some are bright colors and others are just plain. We do a lot of the cutting and stitching right here. The light isn't always perfect, but we make it work. Tiljala Road is where we’ve set up shop because it’s where the action is for this kind of work. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. Most of our work is for other businesses who need things made. We just focus on getting the seams straight and the sizes right. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to be finished. The tea stall down the street is where we usually go when we need a break. It’s honest work. We don’t put on any acts. We’re just here to make clothes and keep the business running. Every day is pretty much the same, but that’s fine with us. We know our way around a needle and thread and that’s what matters at the end of the day. We’ve been here for years and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hand. It's a loud place, but it's home for our business.
