Calcutta'S Garments

You can find Calcutta'S Garments at 78B, BBD Bag, right in the heart of Kolkata. This is the old part of the city, so the buildings are very close together and the streets are always full of people going to offices or catching buses. Our shop is tucked into one of these older structures. We have been here at 78B for a good while, selling garments to whoever stops in. Because we are in the BBD Bag area, we get a lot of office workers during their lunch breaks or after they finish work for the day. The space inside is quite traditional, nothing too modern or flashy. We have stacks of clothes and some mirrors for people to see how things look. Sometimes the rain in Kolkata makes the street outside quite muddy, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floor to keep the shop clean. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we aren't all related. We know the other shopkeepers on the block and we all look out for each other. It’s just a regular garment shop where we try to provide decent clothes for a fair price. We don't have a website or anything, we just rely on people walking past and coming in to see what is on the shelves.
