Bul Bul

Baghajatin Bazar is a crowded place, and that’s where you will find Bul Bul. We are located at No. 68 B/120. If you have ever been to the bazar, you know how it is. There’s always someone shouting, bikes squeezing through the narrow gaps, and plenty of dust. We have been in this little spot for quite some time. It is not a very big shop, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Most mornings start with unlocking the shutters and sweeping the front bit of the floor. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to say hello while they are doing their grocery shopping nearby. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The shelves are usually packed high, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we have a small fan that keeps things moving. Working in a bazar like this means you see all sorts of people every day. Bul Bul is just a small part of this big, messy market. We try to keep things simple and just focus on what we have to do. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but we like being right here in the middle of Baghajatin Bazar.
