Bright Garments

Bright Garments is located at No. 46 in the Doltala area of Madhyam Gram. Being out here in 24 Parganas means things are a bit quieter than the city center but it’s still a busy little spot. We spend most of our mornings opening up the shutters and checking the new arrivals that came in the night before. There are always piles of clothes that need sorting and tagging. It's a small space so we have to be careful about where we put everything otherwise you can’t even walk through the door. The staff here is mostly local people who live nearby, so we all know each other well. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood. Our focus is just on getting the garments ready and making sure they look decent on the hangers. It’s not always easy keeping everything organized when shipments are coming in and customers are browsing at the same time. Sometimes we get the sizes mixed up but we fix it pretty quick. It's just a regular garment shop where we work hard and try to stay busy. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know us by now. It is just an honest way to make a living and keep the community dressed.
