D. S. Fashion

D. S. Fashion is over in Lake Town, at No. 800 C in Block- A. It’s a nice area to be in and we’ve been here for a bit. Our shop is where we handle all the clothes and fabrics. It’s usually quite full of materials and different items we are working on. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking the quality of what comes in. It’s a lot of manual labor and our eyes get tired by the end of the day. D. S. Fashion isn't a massive warehouse. It’s a local place where we know the people who stop by. We have some shelves that are a bit wobbly and the back room is always a mess of threads and scraps. That’s just how it is when you’re actually working with your hands. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Lake Town Block- A is a good community and we feel like we fit in well at No. 800 C. Some days the sewing machines are running all day and other days we are just sorting through new stock. It’s a steady pace and we just keep at it without much fuss. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. It’s a quiet life but we like it and the work keeps us grounded.
