We are over at 52 B Shakespeare Sarani, specifically on the first floor of the Sukh Sadan Apartments. Being in an apartment building means we aren't right on the sidewalk, but it's a very central spot in the city. We’ve been operating out of this space for a long time. It’s a bit of a mix between an office and a storage room. We have racks of clothes everywhere and boxes stacked in the corners. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. It’s just where we do our daily work. Most of our time is spent on the phone talking to suppliers or checking the garments that come in from the workshops. We look at every piece to make sure the stitching is right and there are no marks on the fabric. It’s tedious work sometimes, but it has to be done. We’re a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. Shakespeare Sarani is always busy, so there’s a lot of energy around the building. We don't have any big marketing plans or corporate goals. We just want to get the orders filled and keep the business running smoothly. It’s a practical setup for us. Some days we are buried in paperwork, and other days we are sorting through new collections. It’s just a normal, everyday fashion business, and we’re happy with that. We don't try to make it more than it is.
