Bengal Saree Museum

Bengal Saree Museum is located at DA-7, right near Rail Pukur in the Baguihati area. It’s a busy spot, especially with the Rail Pukur Road right there. Don't let the name fool you, we aren't a real museum with old things behind glass. We just have a lot of sarees. It’s a family-run place, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The shop is usually a bit crowded because we try to fit as much as we can onto the shelves. Sometimes you have to wait a bit if we are busy with another customer, but nobody seems to mind too much. We usually have the radio playing in the background. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always on full blast. We know most of the people who live around Baguihati. They stop by to see what’s new or just to say hello while they’re out doing their marketing. We don't do any big advertisements or have a fancy website. It’s mostly just word of mouth. We keep things honest and simple. If a particular fabric isn't the best, we’ll tell you. We want people to come back, so there’s no point in lying about what we sell. It’s just a local business trying to do things the right way every day.
