B. D. Lal Shop

You can find B. D. Lal Shop at 28A, Samsul Huda Road, not too far from the Quest Mall. It’s a pretty well-known spot for those who live around here. We’ve been at this location for a long time, watching the mall go up and the traffic get heavier every year. Inside the shop, things are a bit cramped because we try to keep everything people might need on the shelves. It’s not one of those sleek, modern stores where everything is perfectly spaced out. It feels more like a traditional shop where you can actually talk to the person behind the counter. We know many of our customers by their first names and we usually know what they are looking for before they even ask. It’s a busy life on Samsul Huda Road. Sometimes it gets a little chaotic when several people come in at once, but we manage to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to be the one people rely on when they are in the neighborhood. The floorboards might creak a little and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it has a certain character that you don't find in the big chains. We open up early and stay until the work is finished for the day. That’s how it’s always been and we don't see any reason to change it now.
