Joy Maa Kali Knittings

Joy Maa Kali Knittings is located at 36b/1 B. B. Ghosh Sarani. It’s a busy street and we’ve been part of it for quite a while now. We do knitting work here, mostly focusing on what the local market needs at the moment. The building is an older one, but it serves our purposes well enough. We have our machines set up in a way that makes the most of the space we have. It’s often quite loud during the day when everything is running, so we’ve all gotten used to talking a bit louder than usual. We don’t really have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. It is just a group of people who know how to handle yarn and needles. Some of us have been doing this for decades. We see a lot of people passing by on B. B. Ghosh Sarani every day. Occasionally someone pops their head in to ask a question or see what we are making. We keep things pretty simple. There’s a lot of thread and scraps on the floor by the end of the day, which we have to clear out before we go home. It’s hard work and it keeps us busy from morning until late in the evening. We’re just a local business trying to do honest work and keep the shop running in this part of town. It is what we know.
