Cotton Street is always a mess of people and carts, so finding number 46 can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't used to the area. Attitude Garments Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this building for a while now. The space is filled with stacks of fabric and finished pieces waiting to go out. It’s loud here most of the time because of the street noise and the machines running inside. We don't have a big fancy office with glass doors. Instead, it’s mostly just desks covered in paperwork and samples. We spend a lot of our morning checking what came in the night before. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a second to breathe. Working in the garment trade means there is always something that needs fixing or a delivery that is running late. We just deal with it as it comes. It is a lot of hard work and the hours can be long, especially when we have a big order to finish. We've got a small team here and most of us have been working together for years. We know each other’s habits and how to get things done without talking too much. It isn't the most glamorous job in the world, but it keeps us busy and the business keeps moving along. We like being part of the history here on Cotton Street.
