Finding us at P-17 D Ashutosh Chowdhury Avenue can be a little tricky if you don't know the building. We are in Sukhavati Bhavan, specifically in Flat 4-a. It feels more like a home than a big corporate office, which is fine by us. Antar Fashions Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this space for some time. There are always fabrics draped over chairs and sketches pinned to the walls. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It’s mostly just the team sitting around tables or on the floor sometimes, working through the latest designs. The street outside is usually busy with cars and people going about their business on the avenue. We hear the city sounds all day long. Sometimes we share tea and talk about what needs to be finished by Friday. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment of cloth arrives, and we have to shuffle the furniture around just to make room. We aren't trying to be some massive global brand, just a group of people making clothes that we think look decent. If the elevator is acting up, we just take the stairs. It’s a bit of a climb but good for the legs. Being at Sukhavati Bhavan feels comfortable. We know the neighbors and the local shops nearby. Antar Fashions Pvt. Ltd. is just a small part of this busy neighborhood, and we like it that way. No big fuss, just daily work.
