Anowar Garments Private Limited. Our workplace is over at X-69/8 Khaldhari Road, in the Bartala area. It’s under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, specifically around the Nadial part of town. It’s a very industrial and busy neighborhood. There are garment shops and units all over this street. We are at LP 43/24 if you are looking at the lamp post numbers to find us. It’s a lot of hard work every day. We don't really have time for fancy talk. We just get the fabric, cut it, and sew it. The building is a bit old, like most of the structures around here. There’s a lot of movement on Khaldhari Road, with cycles and carts moving goods back and forth. We have a small team of tailors who have been doing this for a long time. It’s not always easy, especially when it’s raining and the streets get a bit messy. We just focus on the task at hand. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our physical location where the work gets done. Most of the people here know us by name. We deal with all sorts of garments. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the bundles of finished goods waiting to be shipped out. That’s just the reality of a small business in this part of Kolkata. Sometimes we stay late to finish up a big order for the local markets. It can be tiring, but it's what we know how to do. We just keep the needles moving and try to stay on schedule for the week.
