Amrita Bhaumik

Amrita Bhaumik operates out of B-48 in the Metropolitan Co-Op Housing Society. It is located on Canal South Road. This place is a bit of a mix between a home and a workspace. It is tucked away in the society, so it is not as loud as being right on a main junction, but the canal road has its own traffic issues. The office is set up simply. We have a couple of computers and a lot of folders. It is the kind of place where you might see a stray cat wandering near the door or hear kids playing outside in the afternoon. We do not have a fancy lobby or any corporate branding on the walls. It is just a space that works for us. Some days are more productive than others, especially when the power stays on without any flickering. We usually keep some biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry around mid-morning. It is not a high-pressure environment in the way people think of big offices. We just do the work as it comes in. Amrita is usually around, making sure things are moving along. It feels more like a local community spot than a business sometimes. We know the neighbors and the local shops nearby. It is a very grounded way to spend the workday, just handling the regular tasks without any unnecessary complications or fancy talk.
