Solomon Garments

Our workshop is located at No. 50 Hospital Road in Agarpara. It is a busy street, especially with all the people going back and forth. Solomon Garments has been here for quite some time. We make clothes. It is a lot of sewing machines and rolls of fabric everywhere you look. It is noisy because of the machines, but we are used to it by now. We aren't a big factory; we are more of a local setup. We have a few tailors and some helpers who have been with us for years. We don't really have a front shop with mannequins. Most of our work is making things that get sent elsewhere. Sometimes people from the neighborhood come in and ask if we can fix a zipper or hem some pants. We usually do it if we aren't too busy with a big order. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We spend most of our daylight hours here. When the sun goes down, we finish up the last few stitches and lock up. Agarpara is a hardworking place, and we fit right in. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth is how people find out about us. We just focus on getting the orders done on time so we can pay the bills.
