Our workshop is at 27 Sova Bazar Street. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Sova Bazar has a lot of history with textiles, and we’re just one part of that. At Aditya Apparels, we’ve been working out of this building for a long time. The stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We make all sorts of clothes here. The noise from the street comes in through the windows, but we don’t mind. It’s just the sound of the neighborhood. We have a couple of rows of sewing machines and a large table for cutting fabric. It’s not a high-tech setup. We use what we have and we do it well. Our workers have been with us for years. We know each other's families and stories. It’s more like a small community than a company. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. We just do the work that people ask for. Sometimes we take a break and sit on the steps to watch the people go by. It’s a busy life but it’s a good one. We just keep sewing and folding until the sun goes down and it's time to lock up. Sova Bazar Street is where we belong, and we don't see that changing anytime soon.
