You can find us in Valapattanam, which is a busy little part of Kannur. We are an upper primary school, which means we deal with kids who are just starting to grow up and get a bit mischievous. The school building is tucked away in a spot that most locals know well. We have several classrooms and a small office where we handle all the administrative stuff. It’s a lot of paperwork, to be honest. The walls are covered with charts and drawings made by the students over the years. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment, but we make do with what we have. The bell rings at the same time every day, and that’s the signal for the chaos to begin or end. Teachers here are quite practical and don't use much jargon. We just talk to the kids and try to get them through their lessons. On some days, it’s quite peaceful, but most of the time it’s loud and energetic. We have a small yard where the kids eat their lunch and play. The trees nearby give some shade, which is nice when it’s sunny. We are just a regular school in 670010, doing what needs to be done. There’s no grand plan, just the daily work of keeping a school running and making sure the students are actually learning something useful for their lives ahead.
