Thalora A L P School is located right here on the road from Vellavu to Thalora. Most people in the Taliparamba area have seen the building if they travel through O Kuttyeri. We have been part of this Kannur neighborhood for a long time now. The school sits in a quiet spot in Vellavu. It is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone. Parents often stop by to talk about their kids or just to say hello while passing by on their way to work. It’s a basic setup, nothing fancy, but it works for the families living around here. In the mornings, you can hear the kids playing before the bell rings. The rainy season in Kannur makes the road a bit messy sometimes, but the students still make it to class. We have our small classrooms and a bit of space for the younger ones to run around. It’s mostly locals who send their children here because it's convenient and close to home. You don't see many strangers on this road. We just keep things running day by day. Some of our former students are now grown up and they bring their own children back to the same classrooms they sat in years ago. It feels like a small cycle. Life moves at a slower pace in this part of Taliparamba. We don’t have big signs or anything, just the school name on the gate. That's just the way it's always been.
