Raja'S U.P. School

Raja'S U.P. School is located in Chirakkal, which is a place with a lot of history in the Kannur district. Our school has been around for many years, serving the upper primary students of this locality. It’s a standard Kerala school building with the tiled roofs and open corridors that stay cool during the hot months. Chirakkal is a quiet residential area for the most part, and the school is a landmark for the people living here. Most of our students walk to school from the nearby houses. The 670011 area is very familiar to us, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the decades, even though the school stays much the same. We have a small playground where the children spend their lunch breaks. It’s not a fancy private institution with high walls; it’s a community school where the gates are usually open and people feel welcome to come in and talk to the staff. The teachers are often seen chatting with parents at the gate after the final bell. We don't have a lot of modern technology or big slogans. We just have our desks, our blackboards, and a lot of history in these walls. It’s a humble place, and we are fine with that. It serves the purpose for the families of Chirakkal who need a local school. It is just a part of the daily life for everyone living in this corner of Kannur.
