Ng Preap School

We are located right on Kavarai Street in Kanchipuram. If you know the area, you know No.57-A is just a regular building among many others. It’s a school, so it’s mostly busy in the early hours. We have a lot of kids coming in from the surrounding streets. The halls are never really quiet, which I guess is normal for a place like this. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the morning snacks and making sure the desks are in rows. It’s not a huge place, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the traffic on Kavarai Street makes it a bit loud, but the kids don't seem to mind much. Our teachers live close by, so they walk to work. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the sign out front and the word of mouth from parents who live nearby. It’s been this way for years. We handle the daily stuff like checking notebooks and watching the kids during their breaks. It's practical work. Every now and then we have to paint a wall or fix a leaky tap. It’s just a school in the middle of a busy town. People drop their kids off, we do our bit, and then everyone goes home. It's a simple life here, really. We aren't doing anything special, just helping out with the local education as best as we can.
