Our school is tucked away on Sethurayar Street in Kanchipuram. It is at number 10/1, right in the middle of a busy residential area. This part of Kanchipuram is always moving, with temples and shops nearby. The school building is an old-style structure that has been part of this street for a long time. We have students from all kinds of homes around here. The classrooms are not very large, but we make them work. Teachers spend their time going from one room to another with their chalk and registers. It is a very local feel. Parents often stop by the gate to have a quick word with the staff about how their child is doing. We do not have a massive sports field, but the children find ways to play in the spaces we have. During the festivals, the whole street gets even busier, and the school feels part of the town's life. We just try to make sure every kid learns how to read and write properly. There is a lot of focus on the daily lessons and getting through the syllabus. It is not a place for luxury, just a place for education. When the bells ring at the end of the day, the kids spill out onto Sethurayar Street and disappear into the narrow lanes. It is just how things are here.
