Ganchior Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Ganchior Matriculation Higher Secondary School is out on the Walajabad Sunguvarchathiram Keelachery Road, specifically in Kizhacheri. It’s along the SH120 in the Thiruvallur area, though our address is technically Kanchipuram 631402. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but the school is a major landmark on that stretch of road. The campus is spread out across a few different buildings that have been put up at different times. It’s a busy place with students of all ages, from the little ones to those finishing their higher secondary years. Because of our location, a lot of the kids arrive on buses from the surrounding villages and towns. The buildings are functional and simple, mostly concrete with large windows. We have a big open ground that gets very hot in the summer and a bit dusty when the wind blows across the fields. The staff room is always a hive of activity with teachers grading papers and chatting over tea. We don’t have a lot of the high-tech features you’d find in a city school, but we have what’s necessary for a good education. Most of the families around here have known about us for years, so we don’t need to do much advertising. It’s a plain, hardworking school that fits right into the local landscape of Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day on this busy stretch of the Walajabad Sunguvarchathiram Keelachery Road.
