The Bay International School And Junior College

Our school is located right along the East Coast Road in Chennai, near the Cholamandal Artists Village. It is a nice part of the city, even if the traffic on ECR can be a bit much sometimes. The Bay International School And Junior College started because we wanted a place for education that wasn't right in the middle of the heavy city noise. Being near the artists' village gives the area a quiet feel. We have students ranging from the little ones up to the junior college level. The sea breeze reaches us occasionally, which helps during the hot months. The building has several floors and we have tried to make the best use of the space we have. Inside, you’ll find students carrying heavy bags and teachers talking about the next set of tests. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to the back. We have a small area where students can sit during their breaks. It is not a very old building, but it has seen a lot of kids come and go already. We spend our days making sure the kids are in their seats and the lessons are being taught. People from the nearby colonies send their children here. It feels like a small community. We just go through the week, waiting for the weekend like everyone else. It’s a decent place for learning for the kids around here.
