Hide Out

You can find us on the second floor of Silver Square Mall right on G S Road. It’s pretty easy to spot since we are just above the Westside store. Being in Guwahati means we deal with a lot of rain and humidity, but inside the mall, it stays a bit more comfortable for everyone. We’ve been at Hide Out for a while, and it’s a spot where people mostly come to get away from the noise of the main road. G S Road is always packed with cars and people, so heading up to the second floor feels like a different world. We didn't go overboard with the decorations or anything. It’s a straightforward layout with enough room for people to hang out without bumping into each other too much. The mall vibe is alright, though sometimes the elevators act up and people have to take the stairs. We see a lot of younger crowds and shoppers who are tired from walking around the stores. It’s not a very formal place. We like it that way. You can come in, stay for a bit, and not feel like you have to act a certain way. It’s just a regular business in a busy part of town, trying to keep things moving day by day. We aren't looking for awards, we just want to be a place where people feel comfortable taking a break.
