Aashapura Lodge & Restaurant

You can find us at Shop-31 in the Poonam Commercial complex, right on the Mandvi Mundra Road in Koday. We are very close to the Ashapura Temple, so we see a lot of people who are visiting the temple for prayers. Being a lodge and a restaurant means we are busy with two different things at once. In the kitchen, we prepare simple meals for the pilgrims and travelers passing through the 370460 area. In the lodge part, we have rooms for those who want to stay overnight. Kutch is a beautiful place, but the work here is hard and the sun is very strong. We spend a lot of our time making sure the water tanks are full and the rooms are ready. Our staff is local, and we all know the rhythms of the Mandvi Mundra Road. We do not have any polished corporate mission or anything like that. We just provide a place for people to eat and sleep while they are on their journey. The commercial complex is always active with other shops and people moving about. We keep our doors open and try to handle whatever the day brings. Sometimes it is a busy group of pilgrims, other times it is just a few quiet travelers. We do not use fancy words to describe ourselves; we are just a local business doing our best in Koday.
