Vachraj Parotha House & Restaurant

If you are driving down the Junagadh Veraval Highway, you will see us out in Vanthali. Vachraj Parotha House & Restaurant is right on the side of the road, which makes it easy for truck drivers and families on trips to stop by. We are located at Kanja Dhar, and it’s a dusty spot because of all the traffic passing by. The main thing we do here is parothas. We have a big flat tawa that stays hot all day long. It’s not a quiet place because the highway is always loud with horns and engines. We have some outdoor seating under a shed and a few tables inside where it’s a bit cooler. The kitchen is open so you can see the flour being rolled out and the steam rising. We don’t have a big printed menu or anything like that. We just tell people what we’ve got ready. Most days it’s just the same few things that people like. It gets really busy during the evening when the sun goes down and people are looking for a place to eat before finishing their journey. We’ve been here for a few years now, and the building has seen a lot of wear from the wind and the sun. It’s just a basic highway stop where you can get a hot meal and sit down for a minute. Nothing fancy about it at all, just food and a place to rest.
