Ganesh dining hall

We are located on Gir Gadhda road in UNA, Junagadh. You’ll see us right across from the Surya Mukhi Hanuman temple. Our dining hall is a place where anyone can come for a meal. We don't have a long list of fancy dishes. We just cook what is fresh and available in the market. The kitchen starts up before the sun comes over the hills. We spend a lot of time cleaning lentils and cutting vegetables by hand. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually tired by the end of the day. The hall is simple with long tables and basic chairs. We don't have air conditioning, just some good fans that keep things comfortable enough for eating. People from the temple often come over after their prayers. We see a lot of travelers too, passing through Junagadh on their way somewhere else. We don't do any marketing or have a social media page. Word of mouth is how people hear about us. We try to keep the prices fair so that a working man can eat here every day if he needs to. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and leaks a little near the back door, but we put a bucket out and keep going. That’s just how it is with an old building. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place to sit and eat a warm meal without any extra fuss.
