Janta Lodge

Janta Lodge is right on Railway Station Road in Junagadh. As the name suggests, we are very close to the railway station, which makes us a convenient spot for travelers getting off the trains. Our zip code is 362001 and we have been here for years. Being near a station means there is always someone coming or going at odd hours. We are used to the sound of the trains and the noise of the rickshaws outside. The lodge is a basic place for people who need a simple room for the night. We don't have any of those modern amenities like gymnasiums or swimming pools. It’s just us and the guests. The rooms have the essentials and we make sure the bathrooms are cleaned every day. The staff is just a couple of guys who have worked here for a long time. We handle everything ourselves. We don't have a fancy lobby or a concierge. If you need something, you just ask at the small desk near the entrance. Most of our guests are people visiting Junagadh for work or to see the local sights. We spend a lot of time swept up in the daily chores of running a lodge. It’s a lot of laundry and keeping track of keys. We don't pretend to be anything we are not. It’s just a plain lodge for plain people who need a place to rest.
