Gad Restaurant

Our place is called Gad Restaurant and you can find us inside The Gateway Hotel in Sasan Gir. We’re really close to Sinh Sadan, which is where most people go when they want to see the lions. Being in Junagadh means we get a lot of visitors during the season. It’s a busy spot but we try to keep things relaxed inside. The staff here mostly lives nearby so they know the roads and the park well. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a restaurant in a hotel. People come in after their safaris looking tired and hungry. We serve them and they go back to their rooms or head out. The 362135 area is pretty famous for the wildlife obviously. We’ve been part of the hotel setup for a good bit of time now. It’s a practical location if you’re staying right here. You don’t have to go looking for food in the dark. We keep the lights on and the tables ready. Sometimes it gets loud when a big group comes in but mostly it’s just the sound of people talking about what they saw in the forest. Nothing too complicated about how we run things. We just open up and wait for the guests to arrive. It’s a steady kind of life out here near the forest. It isn't anything fancy but it gets the job done for everyone.
