Kanaiya Dining Hall

You can find Kanaiya Dining Hall on the 2nd Floor of Ramdev Complex. We are on the Bypass Road in Junagadh. It’s quite near the Bypass Gate so it's easy to spot. People come up the stairs when they are hungry for a simple thali. We mostly do traditional Gujarati style meals. It’s a very simple setup with wooden tables and some benches. Nothing too stylish or modern. We’ve been in this complex for some time now. Being on the second floor means it's a bit quieter than the noisy street below. But you can still hear the big trucks passing on the bypass road. We just serve whatever is freshly made for the day. If the rotis are hot and the dal is warm, people are usually happy. That’s what we aim for. I sit at the counter usually to take the money. My cousins help out in the kitchen with the cooking. We don't have a big menu with many choices. Just the daily meal. 362001 is the pin code if you are looking for the exact location. Junagadh is a nice place, and we have many regulars who eat here every day. They like the fixed price we charge. It’s easy for them. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe our food. It's just simple food. We try to keep the drinking water cool and the place tidy. That’s about it. People come and leave satisfied. We don't ask for much more.
