Shubh Suvidha Restaurant

We have been here at the Somnath Bye Pass Corner for a while now. Most people find us because they are staying at Hotel Shubh Suvidha or just passing through Veraval on their way to the temple. It’s a busy spot right by the bypass. We serve food throughout the day. It is mostly local people and travelers who stop by. The kitchen starts early because of the temple crowds. We don’t do anything fancy here, just regular meals that fill you up. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but inside it is okay. The staff mostly knows the regulars by name. We get a lot of families because there is space to sit together. If you are coming from the main road, we are right there at the corner, hard to miss really. We try to keep things clean and the food hot. It’s just a standard place where you can get a thali or some snacks without a lot of fuss. People like the convenience of being right near the hotel. We have seen the area change a lot over the years with more cars and people coming through Somnath. It’s a lot of work running a kitchen near a major pilgrimage site, but we manage. The menu is simple, mostly what you’d expect around here. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do, we just open the doors and start cooking for whoever comes in.
