Shiv Shakti Parotha House

Shiv Shakti Parotha House is at Shop No 26 in the Somnath Shopping Centre. We are right on the Somnath Temple Road, which is the main way people get to the temple. Our address is in Veraval 362268, near the Prabhash Patan area. Being so close to the Somnath Temple means we see thousands of people walking by when there are festivals or special days. The shopping centre is a busy place with a lot of different stalls and shops. Our shop, number 26, is where we make the parothas every day. You can smell the flour and the heat from the stove when you walk past the shopping centre. It’s a small space, but we make it work. The Somnath Temple Road is always crowded with pilgrims and tourists visiting Prabhash Patan. We are just one of the many small businesses serving the folks who come to Veraval. The sea isn't too far away, so sometimes you get a bit of that breeze, but mostly it's just the heat from the kitchen. We don't have any big advertisements, just the sign for Shiv Shakti Parotha House. We open up early and stay until the crowds thin out at night. It’s a lot of standing and cooking, but that’s the job we have here in the shopping centre. We have been here for many seasons now.
