Sahajanand Restaurant

If you ever find yourself in Chorvad, you’ll probably pass by Sahajanand Restaurant. We are right there on Railway Station Road, practically next to the State Bank of India. It’s a small town in Junagadh, so things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. We get a lot of people who are just getting off the train or waiting for one. They come in looking for something to eat while they wait. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't have fancy menus or expensive decorations. It’s just tables, chairs, and good food. I spend a lot of my time chatting with the regulars who come in after finishing their work at the bank. The heat in Gujarat can be quite something, so we try to keep the place as breezy as possible. We’ve been at this 180 Railway Station Road address for quite a while. You get to know everyone's name after a few months. It's not a complicated business. We wake up, prep the kitchen, and serve whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the train schedule is delayed, and the place gets packed all of a sudden. Other times it's quiet enough to hear the ceiling fan humming. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are and what to expect when they sit down.
