Patel Restaurant & Dinning Hall

Our restaurant and dining hall is located in the Essel Dream Plex. We are right on the Rajkot Highway in Junagadh. One of the easiest ways to find us is to look for the Sakkarbaug Zoo, as we are directly opposite it. Being on the highway means we get a lot of travelers passing through, along with families visiting the zoo. The dining hall is quite large so we can accommodate bigger groups of people who are traveling together in buses or big cars. It’s a straightforward setup with long tables and chairs. We focus on getting the food out reasonably fast because people on the road are usually in a hurry to get to their next stop. The kitchen is always busy with big pots of dal and sabzi. We’ve seen the highway change a lot over the years, more buildings coming up, but our place stays pretty much the same. It can get dusty because of the road work and the trucks, but we try to keep the inside comfortable. We don’t have a fancy website or anything. Most people just pull over when they see our sign. It is a family-run business and we all take turns at the counter or helping out in the back. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and we like the interaction with people from different cities. We know how important it is for families to have a steady place to stop when they are far from home.
