Veg Tadka & Chaat Ke Thath

Veg Tadka & Chaat Ke Thath is based in Hotel Kissan Legacy on Olympic Road in Jodhpur. We are quite close to the Sanghi Petrol Pump. Jodhpur can get very hot, as anyone who lives here knows, so we spend a lot of time trying to keep the place cool and comfortable. Being in a hotel building means we see a mix of locals and people just passing through Jodhpur on their way somewhere else. We are a simple outfit. We don't have any big corporate goals or mission statements. We just want to make sure the chaat is good and the tadka is right. It’s a lot of manual work, from chopping vegetables to cleaning up the counters at the end of the night. We do it all ourselves. Olympic Road has a lot of traffic, especially with the petrol pump nearby. We are used to the noise by now. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready kind of place. We don't have any fancy uniforms or anything. Just us in our regular clothes, working away. Sometimes we get a big rush and things get a bit disorganized, but we always manage to pull through and get things sorted. It is just how it is when you run a small place like this. We are honest about what we do. We just cook and serve and then do it all again the next day. It’s a simple life, and we are fine with it.
