Chandelao Garh Restaurant

If you travel out to Vpo Chandelao in Jodhpur, you’ll find us. We are part of the Chandelao Garh Hotel, tucked away in the village area. It’s quiet out here compared to the main city. Most people who come our way are staying at the hotel or just passing through the village. The building itself has that old feel you get in this part of Rajasthan. We don’t have a lot of big signs or anything. It’s just Chandelao Garh Restaurant. Working here is different because the pace is slower. We see the local life moving by every day. The 342001 area is mostly open space and old structures. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Jodhpur hub, but we like it that way. We spend our time getting the kitchen ready and making sure things are clean. The staff is mostly local folks. We don’t try to be like those modern places in the city center. It’s just a dining room in an old fort-style hotel. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we just sit in the shade between the shifts. There’s not much else to say about us. We’ve been here at this address for a while now. It’s a solid stone building and it stays cool inside. If you end up in Chandelao, you’ll probably see us near the entrance. We just do our work and go home. The dust can be a problem when the wind blows, but we just sweep it out.
