Taj Mahal Chicken Point

If you walk behind the Ummed Stadium Ground near the Old Bus Stand, you’ll find us. We are right by the Public Park Gate in Jodhpur. Most people just call the area Kaal Tax. Taj Mahal Chicken Point isn't a fancy restaurant with tablecloths and waiters in suits. It’s a busy spot where we cook a lot of chicken every single day. The 342001 area is usually crowded, especially near the bus stand, so there is always noise and smoke from the grills. We don't have a website or a big office. We just have our kitchen and a few places for people to stand or sit. We spend our time prepping the meat and making sure the fires are hot enough. It’s hard work and it gets very hot in the kitchen, but we’ve been doing it for years. We don't use any of that corporate language about quality or excellence. We just cook the food and hand it over. If it tastes good, people come back. That’s the only plan we have. Sometimes we run out of things early if the crowd is big. We aren't trying to be a big chain. We are just a local shop in a busy part of town. If you’re hungry and near the stadium, you’ll smell the spices and find us easily. We are just here doing our job and feeding the neighborhood.
