Shri Sachiyay Restaurant And Resort is out here in Osian, which is a bit of a drive from Jodhpur. We are located right near the International Guest House, and the Mata Ji Mandir is just opposite to where we are. Osian is a place known for its temples and the desert surroundings, so things are a bit slower and quieter here compared to the big city. Our spot has a bit of space because we have the resort side of things as well as the restaurant. We spend a lot of our time looking after the grounds and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever might be staying the night. The view of the temple across the way is something we see every single day. It is a landmark that everyone knows, so it helps people find us easily enough. The weather here can get very hot and dry, especially in the afternoons when the sun is high over the sands. We just keep things running, serving some food to those passing through or staying with us. It is a family-style environment where we all pitch in to do the chores, from cleaning to cooking. There is nothing too complicated about how we run things. We are just here in Osian, keeping the place open for visitors who come to see the Mandir or stay in the area.
