Shree Ram DAL Baati Churma

In the 4th Pulia area of Chopasni Housing Board, you can find our small shop called Shree Ram DAL Baati Churma. We are located in Jwala Vihar, which is a part of Jodhpur 342001 that stays pretty active. We only really focus on making dal, baati, and churma because that is what we are good at. We don't have a long menu with lots of different dishes. Every morning starts with us getting the coal and wood fires ready to bake the baatis. It is a slow process to get them cooked all the way through without burning the outside. The dal has to be cooked with the right blend of spices we get from the local market. Our place is not fancy at all. We have basic tables and stools, and it can get a little smoky inside from the cooking. We don't do any big promotions or have a social media page. Most people who live around Jwala Vihar just know we are here when they want a heavy lunch. We keep the food simple and the portions are enough to fill you up. It is just me and two other guys working in the kitchen and serving the plates. We spend a lot of time cleaning the soot off the walls and making sure the floor is swept. It is just a small local business trying to serve a traditional meal the right way. We hope the food tastes good to everyone.
