Mandore Road is where you can find us, right at the Maha Mandir Circle in Jodhpur. Rasoi Tadka Restaurant is easy to spot if you are near the Central Bank of India. Jodhpur is a city that loves its food, and we are just one of the many spots trying to keep everyone fed. The circle outside is always full of rickshaws and honking cars, so it’s never really quiet here. We start our day early to get the "tadka" smells going. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just write the specials on a board and hope people like them. The 342006 area gets really hot in the summer, so our kitchen can be a tough place to work, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floor because the dust from the road always finds its way inside. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you want a place that feels like a regular kitchen, that’s us. We just keep the pots boiling and the tables wiped down. Sometimes the bank employees come over for a quick bite, and we enjoy the chat. It is a busy, noisy, and very real part of our lives.
