We are over by the Pal Byepass in Jodhpur. Most people know where we are because we’re so close to Arora Namkeen. That’s a pretty big spot around here and everyone uses it for directions. Jodhpur is a fast-growing city but this side of the bypass still feels a bit more open and less crowded than the main market. We set up the restaurant because the area needed a place where people could just sit down and eat without any fuss. It’s a simple setup with tables that have seen better days but they work just fine for us. We get a lot of people who are finishing their shifts or people driving into the city from the outskirts. The sun gets really hot here in Rajasthan, especially in the summer months, so we try to keep the inside as cool as possible with the ceiling fans we have. It’s just me and my cousins running the show every day. We don’t have a manager or anyone in a suit. We do all the work ourselves from buying the vegetables in the morning to locking up the shutters late at night. The pin is 342001. We don’t have a website or anything polished. If you walk in, you’ll see us just doing the daily work. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit around and talk, and other times we can barely keep up with the orders. It’s just a normal part of life here.
